Hi there my name is Rocky! I am charming male Miniature Pinscher born in 2009. I weigh around 15 pounds.
I've got to say, it's kind of ironic I'm named after someone famous for fighting because I am just about the sweetest sweetheart there is! I am a loving gentleman that has no problem melting hearts everywhere I go. I absolutely adore humans and being showered with love! I'm also quite fond of my doggy pals as well! What can I say? I'm a very loving pooch!
I think the coolest thing about me is my optimistic outlook on life. I do have one ‘special need' but I certainly don't let it define me! I am diabetic. I know that may sound scary, but it's really not! I only require insulin twice a day and a special diet. Once you see how cool and charismatic I am, you'll realize the diabetes is no sweat and the extra medical attention is 100% worth it!
I have a very adventurous spirit! I'm naturally very curious and inquisitive. I love to explore and take in my surroundings. It's super adorable to watch me sniff around and take everything in! It's even cuter when I stand up on my tip tippy toes to smell all the cool smells up above!
I would absolutely love to find my forever home! Do you think you might be my person?! Ask to meet me and we can find out! I'm also available for foster.
Hi everyone! My name is Darnella, and I'm an adorable female Rat Terrier mix born in 2006.
I am a friendly gal who loves human attention and especially enjoys getting petted. I'm quite active for my age as well so don't be fooled. They say age is just a number anyways, right? My owner passed away, which was very sad for me and how I ended up at MaxFund. Now I find myself looking for a new home and I am oh so optimistic! I am truly a sweetheart with an easy-going personality that would be a joy for anyone to have in their home. I'll be happy joining you for walks in the park or snuggling up on the couch together. Any quality time with my person sounds great to me!
I get along with other dogs and children, but I have not yet met any cats. If you have a current fur kid in your house, I'd love to meet them before we head home together! I do have diabetes and advanced cataracts, but I certainly do not let my special needs define me. I hope you won't either! I currently live over at the MaxFund Wellness Center, but you can still meet me at the dog shelter. Feel free to contact the clinic at 303-595-0532 for questions about my medical needs!
Don't I sound like a dream? Ask the front desk to meet me today! I am also available to be fostered. If you would like information on becoming a foster parent, please speak with an adoption counselor or contact them at 303-595-4917.
